MARY’S LITTLE MONSTER

“Mary’s Little Monster” by Tom Kee. Set in 1816, the year without summer, at the chalet of Lord Byron, the poet is joined by an intimate circle consisting of Percy Shelley, Mary Shelley, and Byron’s personal doctor; the characters’ massive emotions and intellects collide to produce legendary poetry, literature, conflict, catharsis, and discovery. THE EXECUTION OF MRS COTTON

“The Execution of Mrs. Cotton” by Sara Fellini tells the story of the life and times of Elva Zona Heaster Cotton, a serial killer in a gothic postbellum South. This play deals with the value of women’s work, their art, and their voices, and explores how several working-class men could become vulnerable to a female serial killer, an artist in her own right, while the world around them rapidly industrializes.
