About Samuel
Samuel Adams is an NYC-based AEA and SAG-AFTRA actor, director, and educator. Although a third-generation native of New York City, Sam was raised upstate in a town of 300 people. He received his undergraduate education from the London Dramatic Academy and Adelphi University and his graduate degree from the George Washington University in collaboration with the Shakespeare Theater Company. He has worked as a director and an actor in films, television, and theaters across the nation, most recently performing Off-Broadway in “Crooked Cross” with Mint Theater Company at Theater Row. Last year, he performed in “Leopoldstadt” by Tom Stoppard, directed by Carey Perloff, co-produced at The Huntington Theater and The Shakespeare Theater Company.
In addition to these pursuits, he has worked extensively as a teacher, arts-administrator, and gardener.
